Event Information These are the events that our Administrators host during Weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Weekday events may be added in the future. If you have any suggestions for future events please private message me on forums. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ PVP Tournaments The PvP tournaments require players to register in advance. Registration begins one hour before the tournament starts. All of the registered players will be entered into a randomized bracket. The bracket is posted in the registration thread and players will fight 1 versus 1 and winners will advance through the bracket. This event will take place at the home of PVP, Edgeville. Players that place 1st, 2nd and 3rd will receive a prize. The 1st place winner will also receive a forum award. The starting time, location, rules, gear requirements, and other general information for PvP tournaments is posted in the registration thread that is announced an hour beforehand. If rules are not followed, this may result in disciplinary action. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Skilling Events An Administrator will announce a hunt for one of the pets below. The first player to receive the pet will win a prize. Example: "The first player to receive the Heron (fishing) will win a prize!". Skilling Pets Woodcutting - Beaver Fishing - Heron Mining - Rock Golem Firemaking - Desert Phoenix (Only received from Wintertodt). Agility - Giant Squirrel or Dark Acorn Thieving - Rocky (Only received from pickpocketing). Runecrafting - Rift Guardian Hunter - Baby Chinchompa Farming - Tangleroot __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ PVM Events An Administrator will announce a rare drop from a boss. The first player to obtain that drop will win a prize. Example: "The first player to receive a Tanzanite Fang or Magic Fang from Zulrah wins 150m!". __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Boss Hunt Event Players will be given 72 hours, starting Friday and ending on Sunday to obtain a specified boss pet. The first player to receive the boss pet wins a prize. Players are required to provide a screenshot with the current server time and date in the chat box to win. If you receive the pet, send a screenshot to an Administrator. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Corporeal Beast Massacre The Corporeal Beast Massacre is an event where you simply use the "Bosses" teleport, and go to Corporeal Beast. Bring your best gear, remember to bring food and potions! This event will last 1 hour and have an increased drop rate of 2x. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Nex Massacre The Nex Massacre is an event where you simply use the "Bosses" teleport, and go to Nex. Bring your best gear, remember to bring food and potions! This event will last 1 hour and have an increased drop rate of 2x. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Chambers of Xeric Mass In this event, an Administrator will announce a chambers of xeric mass. You will be required to join a specified clan chat in order to participate. Once the mass starts a chambers of xeric boost of 2x will be turned on in order to increase the chance of receiving a rare drop. The first 3 players to receive a rare drop will receive a cash prize. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Wintertodt Mass In this event, an Administrator will announce that a Wintertodt mass will begin in the next few minutes. Players will gather at Wintertodt and simply participate in the minigame. The first player to receive an announced drop will receive a cash prize. Wintertodt is not only a minigame, but it's a boss. Swapped all services over to run directly through Cosmic Guard to ensure our entire network is protected. Enabled hot-reload so I no longer will need to restart the server (as of 11/05/2024) fixed voting API broke for some reason after we moved to the new VPS. Upgraded VPS to Windows 2025. 11/05/2024 - 11/16/2024 Fixed ACL, which will be an integrated security measure to ensure folks are legit players and not minges (who would go through this process unless they really wanted to try it out with us) Added CosmicGuard to our Configuration. Updated some configurations that weren’t setup correctly. Setup SQL, Voting, Donation store and Hiscores has been started can now use ::voted to claim votes and rewards! Our moderation team is here to make sure this cozy little corner of Discord stays warm and safe for everyone. If you ever come across any problems related to our server, don't hesitate to tag them in the channel. The moderation team won't handle issues through DMs between members. If you run into any trouble there, it's best to report it directly to Discord's Trust & Safety and block the user. [ Rule #1 ] Offensive Language, Flaming, Disrespect & Other Players of the Avernic RSPS community are not allowed to use language that may be considered offensive or obscene to other players in the community. This includes things such as spamming, harassment of any kind, or the use of pornography, racism, homophobic slurs, etc. This includes in yell, chat, clan chat, our discord and pm and players doing so will be punished accordingly. Furthermore, accounts created with names deemed to be offensive will not be tolerated. Players are not allowed to disrespect staff or the server or engage in behavior that may be deemed disrespectful. Any Homophobic statements will result in a Instant Perm Ban. [ Rule #2 ] Discrimination Players of the Avernic community are not allowed to discriminate against other players due to race, religious beliefs, gender expression, age, etc., which may make another player feel uncomfortable, isolated, or unwanted on Avernic This is seen as unjust or prejudice treatment and is considered highly offensive. [ Rule #3 ] Use of Cheat Clients or 3rd-Party Software's Player of the Avernic community is not allowed to use any software that will render in a disadvantage to other players. This includes items such as DDoS Tools/Websites, Cheat Clients allowing personal advantages over other players, auto-typers, etc. Don't spam in yell over 10 seconds. Botting or auto-clicking: You are allowed to use bots/auto clicking for skilling. However, using 3rd party software, bots or auto clickers for anything other than skilling can get your account banned without warning. Multiple instances will be full ban from the server. It will not be tolerated. [ Rule #4 ] Hacking Accounts/Password/Item Scamming Players of the Avernic community are not allowed to hack other or deceive players in any way. This includes things such as knowingly lying about an items' price or use through trading, staking, or risk fighting, gaining access and/or tampering with another player's network or account(s) without consent, etc. [ Rule #5 ] Deleterious Bug Abuse or Exploitation Player of the Avernic community is not allowed to abuse or exploit any bugs or glitches that may cause an unfair advantage against other players. This includes but is not limited to actions such as no clipping, using glitched items to become invisible, gaining an unfair advantage during combat and/or duels, and so on. All bugs found should be reported to staff immediately to avoid punishment. Bug bounties may be offered depending on the severity of the bug however should not be requested or used as leverage. [ Rule #7 ] Real World Trading & Account Sharing Players of the Avernic community are not allowed to sell Avernic wealth, accounts, or items for PayPal, cash, or any means of real-life payment/and or other virtual games. Players of the Avernic community are not allowed to sell, buy, or trade RuneScape wealth or accounts. Players of the Avernic community are not allowed to trade, sell, or share their Avernic accounts in any form or way. Trading or selling accounts will result in an immediate ban or permanent mute on your account. Failure to comply with our rules on Real World Trading will result in all accounts associated being banned. [ Rule #8 ] Advertising Players of the Avernic community are not allowed to advertise for another server or website (including advertising YouTube videos in-game). Advertised sites may be malicious software and are highly recommended against visiting. Advertising will not be tolerated in-game, nor on forums will result in an immediate IPMUTE or IPBAN [ Rule #9 ] Staff Positions Players of the Avernic community are not allowed to ask / beg for staff positions (it is not classy in any sense to beg for anything). Players are chosen based on maturity and previous account history, regarding punishments and the seriousness of those punishments. Staff members are chosen by the Staff Manager. [ Rule #10 ] Privacy Rights Players of the Avernic community are not allowed to release the personal information of another player without their explicit permission. This includes but is not limited to contact information (such as Skype, Facebook, Email, DDOS threats, Dox threats etc. No matter your rank you will be PERMED for this offence.), personal pictures, and other forms of real-life communication. [ Rule #11 ] Impersonation of Others Players of the Avernic Community are not allowed to impersonate other members of the community, especially staff members. This includes but is not limited to, usernames similar to staff members, using icons in yell/cc/pm/chat, or falsely purporting to be a staff member. Impersonation of a staff member may lead to an automatic ban. In addition, those who impersonate others in attempts to get another player punished will be severely punished. [ Rule #12 ] Begging Players of the Avernic community are not allowed to beg. This included asking for "free items", "events" or “rebuilds” or by spam trading other players/staff. [ Rule #14 ] Multilogging Players are allowed to be logged in to up to 3 (1 MAIN/ 1 IRONMAN / 1AFK) accounts at one time. However, it is strictly prohibited to use multiple accounts to boost yourself by farming.
